Anyway, this is the first completed draft, which takes exactly 4 months. I started writing this review paper on 7th August 2018, according to my logbook.

Sekarang bolehlah kalau nak estimate berapa banyak masa diperlukan untuk tulis thesis, ahhaha. Nak kira jap:

1) Hari menulis dalam 1 minggu: 5 days

2) Jumlah keseluruhan hari menulis (dalam 4 bulan): 5 hari x 4 minggu x 4 bulan = 80 hari (I would say less than this, sebab ada minggu kau mengelat!! hahahah)

3) Average of words/day = 125 words

Hahhahahaha....patutlah slow mcm kura-kura. 

So berapa average length of PhD thesis dalam engineering?

According to this, average electrical engineering thesis adalah 125 pages, and lets say kita pakai double spacing (UM's guidelines memang kena double spacing, and maximum word length adalah 100,000 words). Dengan menggunakan review paper aku ni sebagai benchmark (with 3 figures and some tables in single spacing), 10,000 words constitue of about 30 pages. 

Jadi bolehlah estimate berapa banyak masa aku perlu untuk siapkan thesis writing, dengan assumption 125 pages:

Estimated no. of pages = 125

Estimated no. of words = (10,000/30) x 125 pages = 41,667 words

Estimated no. of days = 41,667/125 = 333 days

Writing 5 days per week = 67 weeks

Estimated no. of months = 67/4 = 17 months!

Kannnnnnnnn!!!

Now I should look back at my Gantt chart, does it make sense or not. But I think it is reasonable sebab bukannya kau tulis thesis dekat hujung terus. 

 When I look back at my Gantt chart, ehmmmm......this is an ideal Gantt chart, hahahahah (of course)

Tapi betullah tu, kau memang patut tulis thesis throughout your study, bukannya towards the end.

And my review paper is part of literature review, so kiranya I'm still on the right track.

Pergh....ape benda aku membebel hari Jumaat yang sejuk dan hujan kat luar ni.

Tapi sesungguhnya aku sangatlah happy, sampai rasa nak celebrate, tapi too lazy untuk jumpa kawan2 ajak makan kek. Nanti balik aku celebrate dgn tgk movie je (cehhh...bosan..)
