Chronicle of "Uncle" Razak's Launch

This pic was taken around 5.00am in the morning at MCC (Mission Control Center). Lepas posing kanan, dan posing kiri...we went out for KFC's a.m Riser at Section 13. Nyum nyum nyum, kita MAKANNNN DULUUU! Went back for Subuh, then waited some more.

At 7.15am, posing lagik. The launch window started at 7.00am, but delayed till 10.30am. Hmm...so melalut2 buat mende lain dulu (^___^)

Kita minommm dulu!! Ni Cik Aziatun Nasshiha Burhan. Sungguh bersemangat untuk menyaksikan peluncuran satelit RazakSat ini, heheh. Lepas minum, dia terpaksa gi keje, keke.. Tak sampai hajat nak menyaksikan peristiwa bersejarah ni bersama-sama. Next time perhaps ;p

Masing2 duduk cubicle sendiri. At 10.00am, tiba2 semua naik level 2, sebab bosan dekat tempat sendiri, ahah. Took pictures some more. Thanks to bro Spencer sebab rajin melayan kitorg posing, haha.

10.40am, at MCC. The visual of SpaceX's Falcon 1 was accessible. Feel the heat already!!

Semua orang pun dah kumpul

Interruptions at this moment of time was not appreciated actually. But we have to bear with it since the priority for the webcast only being given to 2 locations, one in Guam for the Minister to watch and another one in LEOP team at Pusat Angkasa Negara in Sg. Lang, Banting.

Still in hold mode. Cerita-ceriti pasal design and specifications of pakcik Razak. It has been 41 minutes being hold...phewww

RazakSat's path (ye ke path, ke orbit? ahaha...)

The reason of being hold, was due to bad weather at the launch site. It was raining. You can actually see in the pictures.

Dah tak larat nak snapped sume gambar, hehe. This was taken when the hold mode is gone. 4 minutes to go!

3 minutes

ONE minute!

in 16 seconds!! Then we did the normal 10 seconds count down to lift-off. Actually, we got the visual about 1 minute delay, haha. Sangatlah tidak real, heheheh. We got the update from time to time from conference chat with personnels at the launch site.

After the visual from the launcher was gone, the only updates that we got was from the conference chat with engineers at Kwaj. Pakai YM, ahaks...

Simulation for tracking the satellite. Before the satellite passed over Malaysia, it passed over Ascension Island and from the telemetry data downloaded from Falcon 1, stated that separation was succesfully done. Hoyeee!! And when RazakSat passed over Malaysia for the 1st time, communications were successfully established! Alhamdulillah (^_____^)

Kul 1.30, tunggu berita keluar dekat TV3 :-) Disebabkan hari tu ada event yg lagi penting (so-called penting la kot pilihanraya kat Manek Urai tuuu), so berita pasal RazakSat mcm selitan2 jela. Hmmm.... Terima kasih kepada tukang baca berita Izwan Azir, ahaks (^___^)

At 3.00pm, we had teleconference with Dato' CEO yang ada kat Guam.

Gunalah Skype ;p
